Olivo estate extra virgin is a blend of 60% Barnea (Israeli), 15% Manzanillo (Spanish), and 25% Leccino and Frantoio (Tuscan) olives from 20 year old trees. The age of the trees adds depth to the blend.
Olivo is the oldest commercial olive grove in the Wairarapa. It was planted in 1991, and started producing their own awarding winning extra virgin olive oil in 2001. The Olivo team is passionate about extra virgin olive oil and are uncompromising in their pursuit of excellence.
